What is Jaltest HIK
-
Full name: Jaltest HIK stands for Handy ISOBUS Kit.
-
It’s a portable diagnostic and control kit from the broader Jaltest Diagnostics family — but specifically geared toward ISOBUS-controlled agricultural implements (implements that use the ISO 11783 standard).
-
The idea: instead of needing a full ISOBUS-equipped tractor to test or configure an implement, HIK works as a tractor substitute — letting you connect, control, diagnose or configure the implement on its own.
🛠What Jaltest HIK Does — Main Features
With HIK you can:
-
Operate an ISOBUS implement — as if the implement were connected to a tractor. That means you can move through menus/controls, activate functions, set parameters, etc.
-
Perform diagnostics and checks on the implement, even without a tractor present or connected — very useful for testing, verifying repairs, or pre-delivery checks.
-
Wirelessly connect to the implement (through a HIK display unit included) — avoiding cable chaos and making it easier to move around the implement during tests or demos.
-
Field setup and tuning — if you install a new ISOBUS implement, HIK lets you configure settings, test functions and explain features to the end-user right in the field.
🎯 Why Use HIK — In What Situations It’s Useful
Jaltest HIK is especially useful when:
-
You have implements (trailers, spreaders, seeders, etc.) that support ISOBUS, but no tractor at hand to test or configure them.
-
You’re a dealer, repair shop or technician who needs to diagnose or demonstrate implements off-site — you can carry HIK instead of needing a tractor.
-
You deliver or install new implements and need final check, tuning or demonstration before handing over to the customer.
-
You need to save time & effort — using HIK avoids the complexity and logistics of hooking up a tractor to every implement for testing.
